Holding a passion for the world and an eye for the beauty it contains, northern commercial, personal, and landscape photographer Dave Brosha is on a continual journey
to seek out and capture the beauty of this world - whether it's the beauty of some of most extreme and pristine environments in the world, or the beauty of some
of a person's most personal moments. In addition to living throughout northern Canada for much
of his life, Dave - along with his beautiful wife, Erin, and little boy, Luke - have also lived in Asia and have travelled extensively through both the many provinces and
territories of their native country and numerous countries abroad.
Dave's personal affiliations and representations include the First Light agency out of Toronto, who "represent more than 200 of Canada's best stock photographers" and the Canadian Press, for which Dave is a freelance photographer.
Published in numerous media outlets including CNN, Reader's Digest, Up Here, the CBC, the Vancouver Sun, Above & Beyond, and CTV, Dave's impressive client list has included the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, Ford Motors, the National Hockey League (NHL), the Montreal Planetarium, and former United States Vice-President, Al Gore (who used some of Dave's images in his international global warming speeches).

"Viewing Dave Brosha's art is like being able to experience perhaps just a small reflection of the awesomeness of what the 'Divine' might be like.
To use a Wordsworth analogy, Brosha is able to capture a 'spot' of time. Not a 'spot' of time that speaks to us via letters and sounds,
but natural and human made images of colour captured in all their complexities and splendour...his migration to Northern Canada
has provided him with a wealth of humbling, awe-inspiring, truly breath-taking natural wonders that add fuel to his personal quest to capture the beautiful,
the magnificent, the raw, the unleashed and unfettered images to which he sets his mind and camera.
His photography is truly an inspiration. It takes us to another plain wherein we come face to face with that which is beyond our mortal space and yet entices and draws us to that which is perhaps our ultimate dwelling place - the eternal".
Lewis MacKinnon, Gaelic singer, recording artist , and member of the East Coast Celtic band, Jug In Hand, 2006
"I have worked with Dave repeatedly over the past year on a number of CBC projects – from the True North Concert to buying stock photos
for our advertising campaigns. His images are crisp, clear and indicitive of the entire north – pure and simple.
I really enjoy working with Dave - he is personable and can get 'the perfect shot' without being intrusive and
I will continue to use him for projects in the future!"
